LATAM Group expects to achieve passenger operations of 85%, measured in available seat kilometres (ASK), during January compared to the same month in 2019, the company said in a press release.

Only domestic services in Chile, a market showing a slower rate of recovery, would not exceed the levels of activity recorded in the first month of the last year prior to the onset of the pandemic. Meanwhile, the subsidiaries in Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru would exceed the operation reported in that same period.

During January, the company would operate some 1.409 daily flights, both domestic and international, and serve 144 destinations in 22 countries. On the other hand, LATAM Group projects to operate more than 1.590 cargo flights, a segment that maintains its positive trend and already accumulates six consecutive months with capacity projections higher than the levels prior to the beginning of the pandemic.
