Aventure Aviation acquires seven Boeing 737NG from WestJet for parts sale

Commercial and military aircraft parts supplier Aventure Aviation, which specialises in providing component repair management services, has acquired seven Boeing 737NG that previously operated for Canadian airline WestJet.

The aircraft are currently stored in Marana, Arizona, United States. They are manufacturer’s serial number (MSN) 34284, 34285, 34286, 34287, 34288, 35111 and 35112. The dismantling process will begin soon, with the aim of obtaining spare components that will then be put on the market.

“With our teardown experience, we have solutions to deploy capital, provide asset management services, and material consignments for stakeholders”, noted Talha Faruqi, President of Aventure Aviation. “We are seeing an increase in inquiries from investors looking for options to diversify their portfolios”, he added.

“This major acquisition will provide a significant inventory increase for our global customer base”, said Kevin Lang, Aventure Aviation’s Drector of Strategic Accounts.

Andrew Crombie, the company’s Director of Product Line Sales, said: “We are constantly seeing new ways to support our global customer base, who trust us to provide quality parts on time with full traceability and recent shop work”.

  • Boeing 737-6CT, serial number 34285. Operated for the airline between October 2005 and October 2020 under registration C-GWSB.
  • Boeing 737-6CT, serial number 34286. Operated for the airline between November 2005 and May 2021 under registration C-GWSI.
  • Boeing 737-6CT, serial number 34287. Operated for the airline between March 2006 and April 2021 under registration C-GWSK.
  • Boeing 737-6CT, serial number 34288. Operated for the airline between April 2006 and May 2021 under registration C-GBWS.
  • Boeing 737-6CT, serial number 35111. Operated for the airline between July 2006 and February 2021 under registration C-GWCQ.
  • Boeing 737-6CT, serial number 35112. Operated for the airline between August 2006 and May 2021 under registration C-GWCT.
