Azul will increase its capacity on the Foz do Iguaçu – Montevideo route as of February 11th. The Brazilian company inaugurated operations between the two cities last December, serving twice a week with 118-seat Embraer 195s.
In line with the booking system and Cirium platform, Azul Linhas Aéreas will fly between Foz and Montevideo in modern Embraer E-2 aircraft, which are configured for 136 passengers.
During February and March, one of the two weekly services will be performed in the E-2s. From April onwards, all operations will be carried out by the Embraer E-2 aircraft.
