Airport Council International (ACI) announced the results of the 2022 survey that led to the Best Airports by Size (passengers per year) and Region awards.
The ASQ program, which is the world leader in airport customer experience benchmarking and measurement, collects data directly from airports. The use of direct passenger surveys allows for the evaluation of traveler satisfaction and feedback.
The surveys evaluate performance aspects of key elements of passenger satisfaction at the airport. More than 30 items are aimed at finding out about and evaluating the ease of orientation, check-in and offers from commercial and gastronomic establishments.
With the sum of all this data, ASQ can obtain a detailed picture of the passenger experience at each airport. This data then serves to provide benchmarks for the evolution of the industry.
«The passenger is at the center of everything, and this is reflected in every aspect of the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) program. Travelers have spoken and recognized the success of these airport communities’ efforts to deliver an exceptional customer experience. Congratulations to the world’s best airports in customer experience.» Said Luis Felipe de Oliveira, Director General of ACI World.
