Air Premia schedules its first non-stop service to the East Coast of the United States with the Seoul/Incheon (ICN) and Newark (EWR) route for the summer season. The airline will be the third carrier in the market between South Korea and New York, where it will compete with Korean Air and Asiana Airlines.
Last year, the carrier first landed in North America with a route between Seoul (ICN) and Los Angeles (LAX) that currently operates five weekly flights. The company’s international network includes services to Singapore (SIN), Ho Chi Minh City (SGN), Bangkok (BKK) and Tokyo/Narita (NRT).
Air Premia will be the only airline to connect Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) to South Korea, the last operation between the two destinations was in the 1990s.

- Seoul/Incheon – Newark Flight YP 131 ICN 09:50 – EWR 10:00 Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
- Newark – Seoul/Incheon Flight YP 132 EWR 00:30 – ICN 04:45+1 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
The route will be operated on Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft with a capacity of 309 seats in two classes (56 Premium Economy/253 Economy) and promotional fares are available from USD 475 each way.
According to data obtained by Aviacionline through Air Portal’s aviation statistics, 782,760 passengers and 77,502 tons of cargo were moved in 2022 between Seoul/Incheon (ICN) and the New York metropolitan area in 3,161 operations. The Big Apple is the second largest market between South Korea and the United States.
