Frontier Boosts Atlanta Flights with Five New Routes

Frontier Airlines continues to expand its Atlanta (ATL) operations beginning in May with five new international and domestic services to Guatemala, the Dominican Republic and the states of California and Utah.

“We are working hard to make our already strong network at ATL even larger and, in fact, by summer, Atlanta will be our third largest operation. We know those in the Atlanta area appreciate Frontier’s ‘low fares done right,’ and now they can take advantage of even more affordable and convenient options when planning their next vacation”, said Daniel Shurz, senior vice president commercial, Frontier Airlines.

Currently, Frontier has an Atlanta (ATL) offering of 77,372 weekly seats on 394 operations according to data obtained through the Cirium platform, the carrier is the third largest low-cost carrier at Hartsfield – Jackson Airport (ATL). By the 2023 summer season, the company will have a network of 28 domestic and 10 international destinations in Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean at ATL.

During the 2022/2023 winter season, Frontier at Atlanta (ATL) operated international flights to Cancun (CUN), Kingston (KIN), Liberia/Guanacaste (LIR), Montego Bay (MBJ), Nassau (NAS), Punta Cana (PUJ), San Salvador (SAL) and San Jose, Costa Rica (SJO).

Domestic routes:

  • Ontario, California (ONT): daily flights beginning May 11, 2023 with promotional fares starting at $79 each way.
  • San Diego (SAN): daily flights beginning May 11, 2023 with promotional fares starting at $79 each way.
  • Salt Lake City, Utah (SLC): three weekly operations beginning May 12, 2023 with promotional fares starting at $79 USD one way.

International routes:

  • Guatemala City (GUA): two flights weekly beginning May 12, 2023 with promotional fares starting at $99 USD one way.
  • Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic (SDQ): two weekly flights beginning May 11, 2023 with promotional fares starting at $129 each way.
