Transavia set to open flights from Brussels to Spain and Greece

Transavia is expanding its intra-European network in Brussels (BRU) with new destinations in Spain and Greece for the 2023 summer season. The low-cost carrier will fly from the Belgian capital to Malaga (AGP), Seville (SVQ), Santorini (JTR) and Zakynthos (ZTH) and winter service to Tenerife – South (TFS) is extended during the summer season.

The Dutch company began operations at Zaventem Airport (BRU) in the summer of last year. The company has noticed an increasing demand for sunny and winter destinations from the Belgian capital, also for Dutch travelers in the south.

Malaga, Spain (AGP)

Starts from June 30, 2023.

  • Brussels – Malaga Flight HV 9033 BRU 16:00 – AGP 18:50 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.
  • Malaga – Brussels Flight HV 9034 AGP 20:25 – BRU 23:15 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.
Seville, Spain (SVQ)

Starts from June 30, 2023.

  • Brussels – Seville Flight HV 9077 BRU 07:30 – SVQ 10:10 Monday and Friday.
  • Seville – Brussels Flight HV 9078 SVQ 10:55 – BRU 13:35 Monday and Friday.
Santorini, Greece (JTR)

Starts from July 2, 2023.

  • Brussels – Santorini Flight HV 9891 BRU 07:20 – JTR 11:40 Sunday.
  • Santorini – Brussels Flight HV 9892 JTR 12:25 – BRU 15:00 Sunday.
Zakynthos, Greece (JTR)

Starts from April 29, 2023.

  • Brussels – Zakynthos Flight HV 9071 BRU 07:20 – ZTH 11:40 Saturday.
  • Zakynthos – Brussels Flight HV 9072 ZTH 12:25 – BRU 15:00 Saturday.

All services are operated on Boeing 737-800 aircraft seating 189 passengers in single configuration and promotional fares are available from EUR 60 on routes to Spain and Greece from EUR 100.

“We have seen that Transavia’s product has been very well received in Brussels and this fits with Transavia’s ambition to play an important role in offering vacation flights from the region,” said Marcel de Nooijer, CEO of Transavia.

Transavia’s destination offering in Brussels (BRU) for the summer season will have services to Zakynthos (ZTH), Ibiza (IBZ), Heraklion (HER), Alicante (ALC), Faro (FAO), Malaga (AGP), Santorini (JTR), Seville (SVQ) and Tenerife – South (TFS) and for the winter it is scheduled to fly to Salzburg (SZG), Innsbruck (INN), Tenerife (TFS), Alicante (ALC) and Faro (FAO).
