AJW Group and Honeywell Aerospace expand a global distribution agreement, originally agreed to in 2021, for worldwide sales of 29 new Honeywell standard-fit avionics products for the Boeing 787 platform to include five additional mechanical products.
Under the terms of the agreement, AJW Group is now the exclusive aftermarket distributor for all Honeywell mechanical and avionics line replacement units (LRUs) installed on current and future Boeing 787 aircraft. The contract covers initial supply and ongoing procurement requirements for all operators and integrated service providers worldwide.
The extended distribution catalog covers parts from inertial reference units to flight control module, global navigation satellite system antennas and active clearance control valves.
The partnership includes AJW maintaining a distribution inventory at its facilities worldwide to meet the needs of Boeing 787 operators, complementing the extensive inventory of spare, maintenance, repair and overhaul parts that enable AJW to offer complete support solutions to customers.
In conjunction with the exclusive distribution agreement, AJW Group has invested in additional in-service and new Boeing 787, Boeing 737 Next Generation/MAX and Airbus A320neo material from Honeywell to support its customers worldwide.
«We are excited to expand our partnership with Honeywell Aerospace as the sole distributor of all B787 mechanical and avionics LRUs worldwide. This agreement is a testament to AJW’s expertise in providing world-class aircraft supply chain solutions and demonstrates Honeywell’s confidence in our ability to deliver exceptional customer service. We look forward to supporting B787 operators with our global inventory and comprehensive support solutions«, said Noelia Hernandez, AJW Group Strategic Asset Manager.
