Flair Airlines is set to broaden its Florida service during the northern winter season, launching new routes from Montreal – Trudeau (YUL) to Fort Lauderdale (FLL) and Orlando – Sanford (SFB).

The new flights will bolster the low-cost carrier’s existing non-stop services between Canada and Florida, which currently operate from Waterloo (YKF), Toronto – Pearson (YYZ), and Ottawa (YOW) to Fort Lauderdale (FLL) and Orlando – Sanford (SFB). These additions will increase competition in the market, as Flair goes head-to-head with Air Canada and Air Transat, both of which charge higher fares.
«Florida is a favorite among Montrealers, but fares have traditionally been steep. Our Florida routes have consistently been popular across our network, making it a natural next step to introduce service from Montreal,» remarked Garth Lund, Flair Airlines’ Chief Commercial Officer.
