On Saturday, April 22nd, Aviacionline embarked on a journey in the Tecnam P2012 Traveller from San Fernando International Airport to the south of Buenos Aires province. This journey was organized by Flex Fly to celebrate the grand opening of the San Bautista del Sur Aerodrome, located in Tres Picos, Tornquist.
Departing at 6:00 a.m. local time, we boarded the Tecnam P2012 Traveller, registration LV-KAQ, at San Fernando International, and headed towards the San Bautista del Sur Aerodrome.
As we took off, we flew southwest over the Pan American Highway and the West Access Highway, witnessing a breathtaking sunrise from the plane.
The flight was pleasant, with all eleven seats occupied. Just minutes from landing, we were flying over the Ventania system, specifically the Cerro Tres Picos. The pilot informed us that he would be making several turns to lose altitude, followed by a low pass over the runway, and then proceeded to land, arriving at the destination at 8:00 a.m. local time.

Upon our arrival in San Bautista del Sur, we were greeted by the entire Flex Fly delegation who welcomed us to their brand new aerodrome.
Once all the passengers were aboard, we closed the doors, performed subsequent checks, started up, and taxied to the north end of San Bautista del Sur. Next, during the onboarding announcement, the captain informed us about the good weather en route and the approximate flight duration of two hours. Later, while on the runway, they informed us that we would do a low pass to bid farewell to the event.
Similarly to the outbound flight, the flight was very enjoyable, watching the sunset from the air as we followed the same route entering San Fernando. We performed the corresponding procedure to runway 05 of said airport, then clearing the runway via taxiway Charlie, taxiing to the FlexFly-Aerotec hangar via Alpha, and ending our journey.
From Aviacionline, we thank FlexFly for inviting us to the inauguration of their aerodrome, flying on the Tecnam P2012 Traveller.
