At 12:38 PM on this Thursday, May 4, Iberia’s re-inaugural flight to San Francisco (SFO) took off from Madrid-Barajas Airport, which, according to the airline, had an 86% load factor.
This operation was carried out with the Airbus A330-200, registration EC-MOY, and is expected to arrive at SFO at 3:38 PM local time.
With San Francisco, there are now nine cities in the United States that Iberia will fly to during this summer season, offering 15% more flights than in 2022.
Flight IB6193 will depart from Madrid on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 12:20 PM, arriving in San Francisco at 4:15 PM. The return flight, IB6174, will depart at 5:50 PM, arriving at Barajas at 2:10 PM the following day. The service is operated with Airbus A330-200 aircraft, accommodating 288 passengers, and will be active until October 27.
This operation is complemented by its low-cost subsidiary, LEVEL, which operates between Barcelona and San Francisco with four weekly flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
Iberia Flights to the United States – Summer 2023
- Dallas: six weekly flights, increasing to daily flights starting in June.
- Los Angeles: five weekly flights.
- New York: 13 weekly flights, and 14 (two daily flights) starting in July.
- Miami: two daily flights.
- Chicago: daily flight.
- Boston: daily flight.
- Washington: four weekly flights.
- San Francisco: three weekly flights.
- Puerto Rico: five weekly flights, increasing to six in August and September.
Iberia will also strengthen its transatlantic operations to Latin America and the Caribbean, where between March 25 and October 28, it will exceed the 2019 flight frequency by 2%.
