Porter Airlines Expands Northern Summer Schedule at Toronto Pearson International Airport

Porter Airlines has unveiled its northern summer season schedule at Lester Pearson International Airport (YYZ), enhancing travel flexibility between Toronto (YYZ) and key Canadian cities including Ottawa (YOW), Montreal (YUL), Halifax (YHZ), Vancouver (YVR), Edmonton (YEG), and Calgary (YYC).

The updated schedule, available from June 1, features additional flights for August and an increased number of transcontinental connections via the carrier’s Toronto – Pearson (YYZ) hub.

Consistent with this focus, we continue to grow at Toronto Pearson and invest in providing passengers with the travel options they value,» said Kevin Jackson, Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, Porter Airlines.

Porter’s Enhanced Toronto Pearson Schedule

Effective from August:

  • Ottawa (YOW): Three daily flights.
  • Montreal (YUL): Four daily flights.
  • Halifax (YHZ): Two daily flights.
  • Vancouver (YVR): Five daily flights.
  • Edmonton (YEG): Three daily flights.
  • Calgary (YYC): Three daily flights.

Each flight will be operated using Embraer E195-E2 aircraft with a 132-passenger, single-class configuration. Exclusive promotions on PorterReserve and PorterClassic fares are available, and passengers can enjoy on-board Wi-Fi, spacious seating, and complimentary premium refreshments.
«Travelers can expect additional flights to these markets, as well as the announcement of entirely new destinations in the coming months. Porter aims to elevate the economy travel experience, and offering frequent flights is another way to meet the needs of both business and leisure travelers,» added Jackson.

By August, Porter Airlines will offer 36,960 weekly seats at Toronto – Pearson International Airport (YYZ), according to Cirium data.
