Avianca, a key player in Latin America’s aviation industry, has recently announced its three-year partnership with the American football team, the Miami Dolphins. This collaboration is an extension of Avianca’s broader strategy of investing in sports initiatives across the Americas, promising a dynamic fusion of sporting enthusiasm and aviation excellence.

The announcement took place at a press conference at the Miami International Airport, attended by executives from both Avianca and the Miami Dolphins.

Manuel Ambriz, Commercial Director of Avianca, highlighted the importance of this alliance. He stated, «Over the past century, we’ve strived for excellence in our field. We seek partnerships with brands and individuals that resonate with our values, dedication, and our goal of connecting with people around the world.»

Katharine Bohlmann, Vice President of Corporate Partnerships of the Miami Dolphins, also shared her excitement. She assured that the partnership with Avianca will serve to reach the Dolphins’ fans in Latin America and beyond.

Benefits of the Partnership

As part of this collaboration, Avianca will gain prominent visibility during Miami Dolphins’ home games at the Hard Rock Stadium. The activities will include game-day activations and opportunities to carry out advertising actions during certain away games.

Avianca currently operates more than 60 weekly flights from Florida through the airports of Miami, Orlando, and Fort Lauderdale. Since 2013, the airline has supported more than 22 sports initiatives in Colombia, Costa Rica, and El Salvador.
