All Nippon Airways resumes flights to Perth

All Nippon Airways (ANA) resumes operations in Western Australia with the reactivation of the Tokyo/Narita – Perth route for this austral summer. The airline’s last service on this segment was on March 30, 2020: the connection was discontinued as a result of the COVID-19 crisis.

«ANA’s return to Perth is a major step forward in rebuilding international air connections and we expect there to be strong demand for this route when it resumes later this year. We will continue to work closely with ANA to confidently rebuild towards a daily service with strong passenger demand throughout the year«, said Kate Holsgrove, CEO of Perth Airport.

All Nippon Airways first launched operations between Narita and Perth in September 2019 with a daily service operated on 184-seat Boeing 787-8s. The resumption of this route adds 75,000 seats back to the market and expands Western Australia’s international connectivity.
