Paris Air Show: Air Mauritius to Add Three Additional A350-900s to its Fleet

Air Mauritius confirmed at the Paris Air Show an order of three A350 aircraft to expand its network in Europe and South Asia.

These three state-of-the-art aircraft will increase Air Mauritius’s A350 fleet to a total of seven. The airline already operates four A350s and four A330s from Airbus.

“Air Mauritius is proud to renew its confidence in Airbus and its products, continuing a partnership of more than three decades. The additional A350-900 aircraft will help us strengthen our European network and secure additional growth in other markets. We look forward to achieving our ambitious goals together with Airbus,” said Mr. Kresimir Kucko, CEO of Air Mauritius.

“We congratulate Air Mauritius on placing the A350 at the heart of its long-haul fleet modernization program. With greater range capacity, better economies, capacity, and comfort for passengers, the A350 is the perfect platform to connect the beautiful island of Mauritius with the world,” said Christian Scherer, Commercial Director and International Head of Airbus.

According to Airbus, the A350 offers the longest range capability of any commercial aircraft family in production today, with a range of up to 9,700nm non-stop.
