100% Business Airline La Compagnie Launches Flights to the Caribbean

La Compagnie, the French boutique airline that has a fleet configured 100% with Business seats, will operate flights between Newark and St. Maarten.

This will be made possible thanks to an agreement with E. Clarke Travel agency to offer their clients a new VIP program called Travel in Style Journeys, with seven-night packages available from November 26, 2023, until April 14, 2024.

Flights from La Compagnie will operate on Sundays, departing from Newark in the morning and returning from St. Maarten in the afternoon. Passengers will be able to select luxury hotels in St. Maarten, Anguilla, and Saint Barth, with the agency handling all extra details such as island transfers and baggage management.

«These new flights to St. Maarten are an exciting development for La Compagnie as they mark our official entry into the Caribbean market,» said the La Compagnie CEO, Christian Vernet.

«With leisure travel expected to remain strong, we’re thrilled to partner with Travel in Style Journeys to offer an effortless path to some of the destination’s most sought-after islands,» he added.

For his part, E. Clarke Travel CEO, Wahid Essafi, said that «with Travel In Style Journeys and La Compagnie, we are creating a corridor of comfort and trust to bring our existing clients as well as new clients from New York to Sint Maarten and beyond«.

Flights from La Compagnie are operated on Airbus A321neo aircraft with 76 full flat-beds, free wi-fi, state-of-the-art onboard entertainment, amenity kits, and a seasonal food menu crafted by Michelin chefs, accompanied by organic wines and champagne.

While flights cannot initially be booked independently of an hotel package, the company indicated this may change in the future.

La Compagnie Flights

The current network of scheduled flights from this unique airline includes services that connect Newark with Milan-Malpensa, Nice (seasonal) , and Paris-Orly, averaging about 28 weekly frequencies per direction between the New York area and Europe.

La Compagnie is based in Paris-Orly and since 2014 has been betting on the development of transatlantic services with aircraft equipped exclusively with business class, initially with B757, but in 2019 made a significant leap in efficiency by renewing its fleet with two 76-seat A321neo aircraft, the first of which we were able to see at the Paris Air Show that year:
