Air France is strengthening its Middle East operations for the winter season with a new non-stop flight between Paris – Charle de Gaulle and Abu Dhabi. This new connection will complement services to Dubai, the French airline will have an offer of 13,688 seats per week and three daily flights between France and the United Arab Emirates starting in December.
Air France’s last operation in Abu Dhabi was on March 5, 2012, the company had a schedule of four flights a week operated on Airbus A330-200s. The French airline is the first airline of the Air France – KLM group to resume operations to Abu Dhabi, KLM in 2021 announced the indefinite suspension of its services to the Emirati capital.

- Paris – Abu Dhabi Flight AF 638 CDG 21:15 – AUH 06:45+1 daily flights.
- Abu Dhabi – Paris Flight AF 639 AUH 08:45 – CDG 13:15 daily flights.
The route will be operated on Airbus A350-900 aircraft with 324 seats in three classes (34 Business/21 Premium Economy/266 Economy) and promotional fares are available from EUR 295 each way. Air France has a codeshare partnership with Etihad Airways that gives customers access to multiple destinations in the Middle East, Indian subcontinent, Southeast Asia and Australia.
According to information compiled by Aviacionline through Eurostat statistics, 533,516 passengers and 19,921.4 tons of cargo were mobilized in 2022 between Paris – Charles de Gaulle and Abu Dhabi. The French flag carrier will compete in this segment with Etihad Airways, which currently offers a daily flight operated by Airbus A350-1000.
Air France’s Middle East network this winter season will have services to Beirut, Lebanon; Dubai and Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; Cairo, Egypt; and Tel Aviv (Israel). In total, the company will have a capacity of 25,696 seats per week and 49 weekly flights between France and the Middle East.
