Emirates Initiates Daily Flights to Montreal

At 8:21 on this Wednesday, July 5th, the inaugural flight of Emirates from Dubai landed at the Montreal-Trudeau International Airport.

The cultural capital of Canada is the second destination of Emirates in that country after Toronto. This connection was made possible after the recent expansion of the bilateral agreement between the United Arab Emirates and Canada.

Emirates will operate every day, departing from Dubai at 2:30 to arrive in Montreal at 8:00. The return flight will be at 10:20, landing in Dubai at 6:30 the following day.

The route is carried out with Boeing 777-300ER aircraft with a capacity for 354 passengers in three classes: 8 in First, 42 in Business, and 304 in Economy. The inaugural flight was made with the 11-year-old aircraft, registration A6-EGI.

According to the company, with this new service they hope to «meet the demand from a diverse mix of demographic sectors, including business and leisure travelers, as well as those visiting family and friends», while also «since Montreal is home to several world-class universities, the route is expected to become immensely popular among students from the Middle East, West and Central Asia, and the Far East.»
