Air Transat continues to develop its virtual interline service by including Brazilian carrier Azul Linhas Aéreas into the Canadian leisure airline’s connectair platform.
Travelers can now combine select Air Transat and Azul Linhas Aéreas flights to destinations such as Sao Paulo/Viracopos and Manaus in Brazil, with stopovers in Fort Lauderdale and Orlando in Florida, USA.
Travelers will be able to enjoy greater opportunities to access South America, allowing them to explore destinations such as Iguazu and Rio de Janeiro, among other popular destinations in Brazil.
With this addition, the total number of partners that can be accessed through Air Transat’s connectair platform has reached twelve, offering more than 280 destinations available in Europe, North Africa, the Middle East, Central America, South America and Canada.
Connections are available through the airtransat.com search tool and some flight aggregators. To ensure that passengers arrive at their destination as quickly as possible, the booking also includes assistance in the event of flight delays or cancellations.
Air Transat’s connectair partners include: Aegean Airlines, ASL Airlines, Azores Airlines, easyJet, Norwegian, SKY Press, Air North, Avianca, Azul, Loganair, Pascan and Vueling.
