Copa Airlines will have 42 weekly flights to Venezuela

Copa Airlines continues to strengthen its presence in Venezuela by increasing its operations to 42 weekly flights to five destinations. The Panamanian airline will have a new route to Barquisimeto and will increase its services to Maracaibo and Caracas.

Copa will offer 13,076 weekly seats between Venezuela and Panama for the winter season, a 25.4% increase in capacity compared to previous levels of the pandemic.

In total, Copa will schedule 24 flights per week to Caracas, daily flights to Valencia, five weekly flights to Maracaibo, three weekly flights to Barcelona and three weekly flights to Barquisimeto.

Service increases from 21 to 24 weekly flights.

  • Caracas – Panama Flight CM 222 CCS 13:22 – PTY 14:42 daily flights.
  • Caracas – Panama Flight CM 225 CCS 16:05 – PTY 17:33 daily flights.

New service

  • Panama – Caracas Flight CM 259 PTY 18:27 – CCS 21:51 Monday, Friday and Saturday.
  • Caracas – Panama Flight CM 257 CCS 09:24 – PTY 10:52 Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday.

Flight schedule to Maracaibo

Service increases from 4 to 5 weekly flights.

  • Panama – Maracaibo Flight CM 717 PTY 12:03 – MAR 14:48 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
  • Maracaibo – Panama Flight CM 713 MAR 16:19 – PTY 17:12 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.

New Service to Barquisimeto

Copa’s new service to Barquisimeto will increase air connectivity in central-western Venezuela and is expected to mobilize 20,000 passengers in its first year of operation. Barquisimeto will become the company’s fifth destination in the region and will allow passengers to connect with the airline’s extensive network through the “Hub of the Americas”.
