Emirates is strengthening its operations at London Heathrow with five additional flights per week for the 2023/2024 winter season. The increased segment will cater to travel demand and offer customers more travel options. The Gulf carrier obtained the Heathrow slots through a lease with Cathay Pacific.
Emirates‘ current schedule offers six daily flights on Airbus A380s to London Heathrow. The new service will be operated on Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, equipped with a three-class configuration split between First, Business and Economy. Airline tickets can be purchased through the company’s website, at Emirates sales offices, through travel agents or through online travel agencies.

According to data obtained by Aviacionline through the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), 2,333,127 passengers were mobilized in 2022 between London Heathrow and Dubai, being Heathrow’s second most important long-haul route. Emirates competes in this segment with British Airways and Virgin Atlantic.
More than 125 weekly flights to the UK
Emirates continues to restore its UK operations with the recent reactivation of A380 service to Birmingham and Glasgow, double daily to London Stansted and enhanced services to Newcastle and London Gatwick.
The airline currently has a schedule of 126 weekly flights to the UK: six daily A380 flights to London Heathrow; three daily A380 flights to Gatwick; two daily flights to Stansted; three daily A380 flights to Manchester; two daily flights to Birmingham (including one daily A380 flight); one daily flight to Newcastle and one daily A380 flight to Glasgow.
In total, Emirates will offer 130,974 seats per week between Dubai and the UK for the 2023/2023 winter season. The company is the largest Middle Eastern airline operator in the region.
