Delta Boosts California Flights for Summer 2024

Delta Air Lines is expanding its summer 2024 schedule with the introduction of new routes and the resumption of several services suspended due to the pandemic. The schedule includes a significant expansion of its operations between California and Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.

From its main hub in Atlanta, it will boost connectivity to the West Coast with the reintroduction of nonstop service to Burbank, Oakland and Reno, as well as new routes to Santa Barbara and Fresno. Also, the connection to Aspen will operate year-round.

In addition, the airline will increase operations to Colorado Springs, El Paso and Sacramento from Atlanta next summer. This schedule strengthens connectivity from its main hub at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and provides customers with greater vacation options.

Delta will also resume suspended service to Santa Barbara and Columbus from Salt Lake City. From its Seattle-Tacoma hub, the airline will offer new nonstop service to Dallas/Fort Worth, strengthening the airline’s connectivity between Texas and the West Coast.

In Detroit, the carrier will reactivate nonstop connections to Sacramento and Anchorage, the latter destination will be complemented by year-round flights from Seattle and Minneapolis, and seasonal summer routes from Atlanta and Salt Lake City, in addition to the airline’s other Alaska destinations of Fairbanks, Juneau, Ketchikan and Sitka.

By reopening service to Santa Barbara and offering more ways to access sought-after destinations throughout the western U.S., we are more prepared than ever to take our customers on their next great adventures, with the service, reliability and convenience they know and expect when flying Delta,” said Joe Esposito, Senior Vice President of Network Planning.
