SWISS International Air Lines is expanding its schedule for the 2024 summer season with the addition of new services. In the long-haul segment, the airline is adding routes to Washington-Dulles and Toronto-Pearson. In addition, new services to Košice (Slovakia) and Cluj-Napoca (Romania) are added to the European network.

We are delighted to further expand our route network next summer, both on short-haul and long-haul flights,” said Tamur Goudarzi, Chief Commercial Officer of SWISS.
New services in North America
SWISS will operate daily flights between Zurich and Washington next summer using Airbus A330-300 aircraft. This new service will be available year-round and the company will also become the fourth Lufthansa Group airline to offer flights to Dulles International Airport.
The SWISS U.S. network for the coming year will have services to Newark, New York JFK, Chicago O’Hare, Miami, Boston, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Washington-Dulles. For the 2024 summer schedule, SWISS and its transatlantic partner United Airlines will operate nearly 14 daily flights between Switzerland and the United States.

SWISS is also boosting its presence in Canada, with a new non-stop connection between Zurich and Toronto-Pearson with five weekly flights operated on Airbus A330-300s, complementing the Zurich-Montreal route.
SWISS is the second Lufthansa Group airline to serve Toronto and through its transatlantic partner Air Canada offers customers multiple connections in Canada, the United States and other international destinations.

SWISS expands its European network
For next summer, SWISS is expanding its European route network with a new non-stop service to and from Košice (Slovakia) with three flights a week operated on Airbus A220 aircraft. In Romania, the airline is adding a new service to Cluj-Napoca with three flights a week on Airbus A220 equipment.
The 2024 summer schedule that SWISS will operate from Zurich and Geneva will extend to 113 destinations. Zurich customers will have access to 67 European and 24 intercontinental destinations, while Geneva customers will be able to fly non-stop to New York and 43 short-haul destinations.
