WestJet continues to increase its operations in Western Canada, the airline has scheduled an increase in flights on its winter schedule, with service from Calgary to both Ottawa and Los Angeles.
“WestJet is steadfast in its commitment to ensure Calgary remains the most connected city in North America with less than two million people, as we continue to offer our customers even more affordable and accessible air travel across our network this winter,” said Jane McCurdy, WestJet’s Director of Network Planning and Alliances.
Effective October 30, 2023, WestJet will double operations of its service between Calgary and Ottawa by adding seven additional weekly flights during peak periods. In addition, five extra weekly flights have been added between Calgary and Los Angeles.
In total, WestJet will have a schedule of nearly 900 weekly flights from Calgary International Airport during peak passenger demand periods this winter season.
“With the increased demand for these two popular routes from Calgary, we are able to offer increased capacity and more seats for our valued guests this winter,” McCurdy added.
Flight schedule between Calgary (YYC) and Los Angeles (LAX)
- Flight WS 1510: YYC 09:35 – LAX 11:53 daily flights.
- Flight WS 1514: YYC 14:30 – LAX 16:43 daily flights.
- Flight WS 1512: YYC 19:20 – LAX 21:33 daily flights.
- Flight WS 1513: LAX 07:00 – YYC 11:12 daily flights.
- Flight WS 1511: LAX 12:50 – YYC 17:02 daily flights.
- Flight WS 1515: LAX 17:35 – YYC 21:47 daily flights.
All flights operated on Boeing 737-700 and 737-800 aircraft and promotional fares are available from $167 one way.

- Flight WS 610: YYC 09:10 – YOW 15:03 daily flights.
- Flight WS 612: YYC 18:15 – YOW 00:07 daily flights.
