Air Transat unveils its Toronto 2024 summer schedule

Air Transat unveils its schedule for the 2024 summer season from Lester Pearson International Airport. This schedule reflects significant growth in key European and Southern markets compared to pre-pandemic levels. In the peak seasLester Pearson International Airport.on, the leisure airline will offer 110 weekly flights, serving more than 25 destinations. Also, it was confirmed that Air Transat’s new service to Lima (Peru) will be available year-round.

By adding key destinations, strengthening our frequency of flights to promising markets, expanding our presence in Europe and the South and reducing the seasonality of our operations, we are well positioned to maximize our revenues and develop our market share in Ontario,” said Michèle Barre, Air Transat’s Chief Revenue Officer.

Increased service in Europe

The Canadian leisure airline continues to optimize its offerings in the European market by increasing its operations to England, Croatia, Ireland, Italy and Portugal during the season, in order to provide customers with more travel options for their summer vacations. In addition, the new schedule includes daily services to Dublin and Manchester.

Air Transat’s European schedule includes 15 destinations.

  • Amsterdam: four times weekly.
  • Athens: four times weekly.
  • Barcelona: three times a week.
  • Dublin: increases from six times a week to daily flights.
  • Faro: increases from once a week to twice a week.
  • Glasgow: daily flights.
  • Lamezia: one weekly frequency.
  • Lisbon: five weekly flights.
  • London-Gatwick: two daily flights.
  • Manchester: increases from six times a week to daily flights.
  • Paris-Charles de Gaulle: daily flights.
  • Oporto: increases from 4 to 5 times a week.
  • Rome-Fiumicino: daily flights.
  • Venice: increase from once a week to twice a week.
  • Zagreb: increase from 3 to 4 weekly flights.

Sun destinations during the summer

To strengthen its operations to sunny destinations during the low season, Air Transat will increase its flights from Toronto to key holiday destinations. In addition, the summer schedule adds a new destination to Peru.

  • Cancun: increases from 7 to 9 weekly flights.
  • Cayo Coco: one weekly frequency.
  • Holguin: two weekly flights.
  • Lima: two weekly flights.
  • Montego Bay: increases from one weekly frequency to two weekly flights.
  • Puerto Plata: two weekly flights.
  • Punta Cana: increases from 7 to 9 weekly flights.
  • Samaná: one weekly frequency.
  • Santa Clara: one weekly frequency.
  • Varadero: two weekly flights.
