Azul to operate flights between Sao Paulo Guarulhos and Araxá

The Government of Minas Gerais announced on Friday (6) that, as of 2024, Azul Linhas Aéreas will inaugurate direct flights between Guarulhos airport, in Sao Paulo, and Araxá. As reported by AEROIN, services will be available on Mondays and Fridays, using an Embraer E195 aircraft with capacity for 108 passengers.

Sérgio Cabral, director of asset and market management, highlighted the strategic importance of this initiative to boost economic development and attract private investments to various regions of Minas Gerais.

This new connection aims to meet the demand of Paulistas who wish to explore, revisit and enjoy Minas Gerais. One of the main attractions is the Grande Hotel Termas de Araxá, a company managed by the Tauá Group in partnership with the Government of Minas Gerais since 2010, through Codemge.
