LATAM announced on Friday, October 6th that it completed changes to its flights to comply with operational restrictions at Santos Dumont Airport.

- Rio de Janeiro – Salvador

The company also highlights as investments in Rio de Janeiro the maintenance of its international flights from Galeão to Buenos Aires (Argentina), Lima (Peru) and Santiago (Chile), as well as contributions from its joint venture with Delta Air Lines. From December 2023 to March 2024, Delta will operate the Galeão-New York and Galeão-Atlanta seasonal routes.
With the changes at Galeão, from January 2024, LATAM will only operate direct flights to Congonhas at Santos Dumont. As a result, travel between Rio de Janeiro and the airports of Navegantes, Goiânia, Florianópolis and Curitiba will only be possible via a connection at Congonhas.
