Viva Aerobus expands Queretaro’s international connectivity with two new routes to the U.S.

Viva Aerobus Airbus A320

Viva Aerobus continues its strategic expansion plan to the United States with two new routes to Texas from Queretaro International Airport. All services will be operated on Airbus A321 aircraft with a capacity of 240 passengers and promotional fares are available starting at $76 each way. In addition, the U.S. connections will be the company’s only international destinations in Queretaro’s capital city.

These services are the collaborative work developed between the state and the airline, with the objective of strengthening air connectivity through new routes and boosting tourism and business travel. In addition, the low cost airline’s commitment to Querétaro has been reflected in the presentation of a special livery on an Airbus A320 aircraft named “El Queretano”.

The Viva Aerobus network at Queretaro International Airport has domestic service to Monterrey, Cancun, Merida and San Jose del Cabo.

Houston-Intercontinental

The airline will offer year-round service between Querétaro and George Bush Intercontinental Airport with four weekly flights and will compete in this segment with United Airlines. Viva Aerobus currently operates routes from Leon/Guanajuato, Mexico City, Guadalajara and Monterrey. In total, the airline will have a capacity of more than 18,000 weekly seats on 43 flights to and from Houston-Intercontinental this December.
