EVA Air closes deal for 18 Airbus A350-1000s and 15 A321neo aircraft

EVA Air Airbus A350-1000

EVA Air, the Taiwanese cargo and passenger airline based in Taipei, chose the Airbus A350-1000 as its new ultra-long-haul wide-body aircraft, which will be complemented by the best-selling narrowbody aircraft at the moment: the A321neo.

In a post on X, Airbus announced that the airline has finalized an agreement for the two models, although it did not specify the number of aircraft to be incorporated at the moment. Industry sources indicated that the order consists of 18 Airbus A350-1000s and 15 A321neo, and it is not yet known if the order includes purchase options.

The probable delivery schedule for the aircraft or the total price of the deal has not been disclosed at this time. The European manufacturer thus gains another A350 XWB operator in Asia and ensures the continuity of the A321 in the EVA Air fleet with its natural evolution: the neo.

The EVA Air fleet: constantly renewing
