Qatar Airways expands international network with new flights to Italy and Germany

Qatar Airways is offering two new services to Italy and Germany for its 2024 summer schedule. These new routes reinforce its network of more than 170 destinations, with Venice starting in June and catering for high passenger demand from Japan, China and Australia, while Hamburg will start in July and will be a gateway to the South African, Thai and Philippine markets.

These new services are complemented by the recent expansion of the 2023-2024 winter schedule to popular leisure destinations such as Amsterdam, Bangkok, Barcelona, Belgrade and Miami with connections to Doha’s Hamad International Airport.

Hamburg

Starts 1 July 2024

Hamburg is the airline’s fifth destination in Germany complementing Frankfurt, Munich, Dusseldorf and Berlin.

Flight QR89 departs Doha on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 08:35 and lands in Hamburg at 14:10. The return QR90 departs Hamburg at 15:40 and arrives in Doha at 22:40.

Flight QR91 departs Doha on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 02:15 and lands in Hamburg at 07:00. Return QR92 departs Hamburg at 09:20 and arrives in Doha at 16:20.

Venice

Starts 12 June 2024

Venice is the airline’s third destination in Italy, in addition to Rome-Fiumicino and Milan Malpensa,

Flight QR125 departs Doha at 09:00 and arrives in Venice at 14:20. The return QR 126 takes off from Doha at 16:50 and lands in Doha at 22:40. The service will operate daily.

Qatar Airways’ new routes will be operated on Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft with 254 seats (22 Business Class/232 Economy).
