Alaska Airlines starts offering flights to Toronto, its sixth Canadian destination

Alaska Airlines expands its international network by landing in Eastern Canada with a new service between Seattle and Toronto. This route is the airline’s sixth Canadian destination and will compete in this segment with Air Canada.

Previously, in the 1990s, Alaska operated between Los Angeles and Toronto which will be completed with services to Vancouver, Victoria, Calgary, Calgary, Edmonton and Victoria. According to the Cirium platform, by the 2024 summer season, the airline will have 19,326 weekly seats.

With the partnership with Porter Airlines, customers can access additional destinations to other destinations in eastern Canada. Recently, its partner began its first U.S. West Coast operations.

Seattle-Toronto flight schedule

May 16, 2024.

  • Seattle – Toronto Flight AS 972 SEA 07:00 – YYZ 14:40 daily flights.
  • Toronto – Seattle Flight AS 973 YYZ 15:40 – SEA 17:55 daily flights.

The route will be operated on Boeing 737-900ER aircraft with capacity (16 First Class/162 Premium Class and Main Cabin). Passengers will also have access to other destinations via Seattle, Alaska’s largest hub.
