Edelweiss is adding an Airbus A320 to its fleet for 2024. From spring, this aircraft will be used to reinforce the short- and medium-haul offer and optimize capacity at peak periods during the summer season. With this additional airframe, the Swiss airline will operate 14 Airbus A320s and 5 Airbus A340s, for a total of 19 aircraft.
Improved business-class service
Business Class passengers will be able to enjoy exclusive chocolates from Confiserie Beschle of Basel. Beschle in reusable packaging, rosé champagne from the Gruet vineyard, and new Swiss soft drinks such as Pepita, Sinalco, Elmer Citro, and Rivella will be offered. These will also be served in rotation in 2024.
Martin Rast, Head of Products and Services at Edelweiss: «We have listened to our customers’ feedback and have reviewed the menus and snacks in particular. At Edelweiss, we continue to offer a full culinary service in all classes, which is of course included in the flight price. And for the new year, I am looking forward to a revised film offer on short-haul flights, where we can now also offer our guests blockbuster films. Naturally, also free of charge.»
The year 2024 means pure exclusivity for Edelweiss guests and fans. Every month, guests have the opportunity to take part in a unique adventure or get a behind-the-scenes look at Edelweiss. The latest «Edelweiss experiences» are published monthly via the Edelweiss newsletter and the Edelweiss Instagram channel.
