Jetstar Airways will expand its connectivity at Perth Airport with three new routes from Thailand and Singapore. These operations will offer new low-cost options to fly between Western Australia and South East Asia.
The airline will commence operations in Thailand and Singapore in August this year, and these services are a major expansion for low-cost travel in Western Australia. All flights will be operated on Airbus A321LRs, which will provide more than 330,000 new seats between Perth and South East Asia.
Airbus A321LRs will operate services between Perth and Bali in August 2024. In November 2023, Jetstar announced the opening of a new base in Perth with 60 pilots and four new aircraft to support its expansion in Western Australia.
«We know that Western Australians love to travel overseas, and these three new routes to exciting South East Asian cities will provide more than 330,000 low-cost international seats a year. With fares as low as $134 to Singapore, there is no doubt that these new flights will be very popular with Perth travelers,» said Stephanie Tully, CEO of Jetstar Group.
