South Korean low-cost carrier Air Premia is boosting its long-haul network with a new service between Seoul Incheon and San Francisco for the 2024 summer season. This is the third mainland destination in the United States.
According to data obtained by Air Portal, 682,623 passengers and 66,912 tons of cargo were handled in 3,308 operations between Incheon International Airport and San Francisco Airport in 2023. Air Premia will compete in this segment with Korean Air, United Airlines, and Asiana Airlines.
The six-weekly service from Los Angeles will change to daily on May 16, and the route to Newark will continue with its four-weekly schedule. The airline aims to have a fleet of 10 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners and to add new services to Seattle-Tacoma, Rome-Fiumicino, and Paris-Charles de Gaulle by 2025.

- Seoul Incheon – San Francisco Flight YP 111 ICN 17:30 – ICN 12:30 Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
- San Francisco – Seoul Incheon Flight VP 112 SFO 15:00 – SFO 19:50+1 Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
The route will be operated on Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft with 309 seats in two classes (56 Premium Economy/253 Economy.
