Beond Adds Its Second Aircraft, an A321 with Only 68 Seats: Launches Flights to Dubai, Milan, and Bangkok

Beond, the first premium leisure airline, announced the addition of the second aircraft to its fleet, an Airbus A321, to complement the operations of its A319 with which it started flying in November last year.

The new A321 is being subjected to cabin reconfiguration tasks to install only 68 bed-seats that provide its passengers with a totally premium experience on leisure trips that currently connect Maldives with Munich, Zurich, and Riyadh, to be followed by Milan, Dubai, and Bangkok in H2 2024.

The A319 they currently use only has 44 seats, and the premium experience is complemented with access to VIP lounges, private airport transfers, and gourmet catering onboard.

“We are firmly on track to operate 32 luxurious aircraft with a private jet feel within the next five years, delivering on the promise of our ground-breaking business model in the airline industry and pioneering experience for passengers. Beond team’s decades of experience has allowed us to build the best experience in the sky,” he added.

To support its expansion plans, Beond completed a pre-series a US$13M Pre-Series A Round in December 2023, and launched a US$25M Series A funding round.
