Marty St. George, LATAM Airlines Current CCO, Named New JetBlue President

JetBlue announced today that Marty St. George is set to become the airline’s president starting February 26, 2024. In this pivotal role, he will report directly to Joanna Geraghty, who is transitioning to the role of chief executive officer.

Bringing a deep reservoir of experience from his recent position as chief commercial officer at LATAM Airlines Group, based in Santiago, Chile, St. George is well-versed in the intricacies of the aviation industry. His professional journey is marked by a consultancy tenure where he focused on airline and travel industry strategies, including serving as interim Chief Commercial Officer for Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA. His prior engagement with JetBlue from 2006 to 2019 saw him in various leadership capacities, playing a critical role in shaping the airline’s strategic direction, partnership development, and brand enhancement. St. George’s career also includes significant stints at United and US Airways, where he honed his skills in marketing and network planning.

In his forthcoming role, St. George will spearhead JetBlue’s commercial operations encompassing marketing, loyalty, network planning, partnerships, sales, and revenue management. He will also manage customer support, enterprise and operational planning, and corporate communications. His purview extends to overseeing JetBlue Travel Products (JTP), under the daily leadership of Andres Barry.
