Air France expands its network to meet strong demand for the summer season and the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Long-haul: 9% increase in capacity. Flights to 85 destinations
- Resumption of service to Minneapolis with a daily flight.
- A service between Paris Charles de Gaulle and Phoenix with three weekly flights on Boeing 787-9.
- Increased the Raleigh-Durham route from 3 to 7 flights per week.
- On the occasion of the Cannes Film Festival, Air France will offer two special flights between Nice and Los Angeles operated by Airbus A350-900.
- The schedule for the 2024 summer season will have 210 weekly flights to the United States and 60 to Canada.
- The route to Abu Dhabi will be available year-round.
- Resumption of service to Dar Es Salaam with a stopover in Zanzibar,
- More flights to Japan, including two daily flights between Paris and Tokyo-Haneda, plus service to Tokyo-Narita four times a week.
- Cotonou (Benin) and Antananarivo (Madagascar) will have daily flights.
- Yaoundé and Douala (Cameroon) will have daily flights.
- Services to Brazzaville (Republic of Congo) will be operated by Airbus A350-900.
Cabin retrofit of Boeing 777-300ER and Airbus A350-900 cabins
Air France continues with the retrofit of the Boeing 777-300ER and Airbus A350-900 which will get new cabins in Business Class, Premium Economy and Economy.
Currently, the routes offering the new cabins are New York-JFK, New York-Newark, Washington DC, Boston, Houston, Rio de Janeiro, Bangkok, Dakar, Tokyo-Haneda, Hong Kong, Seoul-Incheon, Shanghai and Johannesburg. By summer 2024 they will be introduced on Toronto, Chicago, Vancouver, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Papeete, Mexico City and Tokyo-Narita.
The short- and medium-haul schedule will have 102 destinations, 45 seasonal routes in France and Europe. In addition, three new routes will be introduced from Paris Charles de Gaulle to:
- Verona (Italy), up to 3 weekly flights from April 2.
- Narvik-Lofoten (Norway), 1 flight every Saturday from June 15 to August 31
- Kalamata (Greece), 1 flight every Saturday from 6 July to 31 August
Service to Tromsø (Norway), will be available during the summer season with 2 flights per week from Paris-Charles de Gaulle, on Airbus A319.
