United consolidates its position as the leading U.S. airline in Portugal by increasing its operations between New York/Newark and Porto The company also offers flights to Lisbon, Ponta Delgada and this year will begin nonstop service to Faro.
From May 23 through July 28, United will offer twice-daily flights between New York/Newark and Porto, both services will be operated by Boeing 757-200 aircraft. This route will compete by TAP Air Portugal’s daily Airbus A321LR flight, other carriers offering transatlantic services include Air Transat, Azores Airlines and Iberojet.

- Porto – Newark Flight UA 145 OPO 12:35 – EWR 15:35 daily flights.
United is the only U.S. airline offering nonstop service to Porto. The summer season schedule to Portugal also offers daily flights from Newark and Washington-Dulles to Lisbon and service from Newark to Ponta Delgada and Faro.
