All Nippon Airways and Air India implement a codeshare agreement to strengthen connectivity between Japan and India. Effective May 23, this partnership between two Star Alliance partners optimizes travel options, allowing travelers to fly to more destinations on a single ticket.
In addition, travelers flying codeshare will have access to the lounges and priority boarding Star Alliance provides to its premium partners. Available for purchase, All Nippon Airways will place its «NH» code on Air India flights between Tokyo-Narita and Delhi and Air India will incorporate its «AI» code on All Nippon Airways flights between Tokyo-Haneda and Delhi, as well as between Tokyo-Narita and Mumbai.

The two airlines are considering expanding their partnership by adding additional destinations in the near future. This agreement will boost economic and trade relations between India and Japan, providing travelers from both nations with more opportunities to explore both countries. The codeshare flights are already on sale from both airlines’ scheduled channels.
