Fiji Airways has signed an interline agreement with Porter Airlines to increase North American connectivity and ensure greater access to the Pacific. The agreement means customers will only require a single ticket to book from airports operated by Porter Airlines and connect to Fiji Airways flights from Vancouver, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.
«Our bookings to and from North America have been strong, collectively making up the second-largest group of visitors to Fiji in 2023. Many of these guests fly from other cities to catch our flights at the three ports in which Fiji Airways operates. We are very pleased to launch this interline partnership with Porter Airlines, which facilitates access and offers more travel options for customers traveling to and from the important and growing list of markets in which Porter operates,» said Andre Viljoen, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Fiji Airways.
Porter Airlines has a more than sixty aircraft fleet, serving over thirty destinations in Canada and the United States, with hubs in Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, and Halifax. Customers flying on Fiji-Porter itineraries can connect in Los Angeles, San Francisco or Vancouver.
For travelers from Fiji wishing to vacation in North America or visit family and friends, this partnership is optimal, providing connections to thirty destinations in Canada and the United States.
«This new partnership offers passengers seamless connections between Fiji Airways and Porter at key points along the West Coast of North America. It improves access for Canadians to destinations across the Pacific, and for passengers originating on Fiji flights to points in Eastern Canada,» said Edmond Eldebs, Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer of Porter Airlines.
