With the start of the northern summer season, Miami International Airport’s connectivity to Europe has been strengthened with the arrival of two new airlines, offering customers greater travel options to the Old Continent.
LEVEL
On March 31, LEVEL began flights between Barcelona and Miami, the third low cost airline to operate transatlantic services to South Florida, complementing the services of Norse Atlantic and French Bee.
Iberia flight IB 2629 was operated on an Airbus A330-200 registered EC-NRH. The aircraft took off from Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport at 16:06 local time and landed at Miami International Airport at 20:04, after nine hours and 57 minutes.
Miami is LEVEL’s fifth destination in the United States; the airline also offers service to Boston, New York JFK, Los Angeles and San Francisco. It is also the second airline to offer non-stop flights between Barcelona and Miami, which is complemented by American Airlines service,

Condor
On March 26, Condor launched its year-round service between Frankfurt and Miami on an Airbus A330-900neo, offering connections to 100 destinations in Europe and beyond, the German leisure airline is the third carrier to offer service between Germany and Florida, complementing the operations of Discover Airlines and Lufthansa.
Flight DE 2044 was operated on an Airbus A330neo registered as D-ANRF. The aircraft departed Frankfurt Airport at 14:02 local time and arrived at Miami International Airport at 19:22, after ten hours and one minute.
