Delta Air Lines inaugurated its seasonal service between New York JFK and Naples, the airline now operates to four Italian destinations and is the second U.S. carrier to have nonstop flights to Naples.
Flight DL 232 was operated on a Boeing 767 registered as N165065. The aircraft took off from John F. Kennedy International Airport at 17:30 local time on May 23 and landed at Naples-Capodichino Airport at 07:37 the following day, after eight hours and seven minutes.

Flights are operated on Boeing 767-300ER aircraft with 26 Delta One, 18 Premium Economy, 21 Delta Comfort and 151 Main Cabin seats. This route is operated in collaboration with European partners Air France, KLM and Virgin Atlantic.
Delta Air Lines will grow by 17% in the Italian market by the 2024 summer season. The airline has flights from New York JFK, Boston, Detroit and Atlanta to Rome-Fiumicino; from New York JFK and Atlanta to Milan-Malpensa; and from New York and Atlanta to Venice-Marco Polo.
The New York JFK-Naples route joins new transatlantic services for the 2024 summer season including New York JFK-Munich, New York JFK-Shannon, Atlanta-Zurich and Minneapolis/St. Paul-Dublin.
