Korean Air is boosting its offerings in Europe with the start of charter flights between Seoul-Incheon and Lisbon, Portugal. The airline will operate 20 round trips over two months using its Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.
The scheduled charter services are the only non-stop flights between Northeast Asia and Lisbon. Previously, travelers had to make stopovers in countries such as France and Spain, or switch to ground transportation upon arrival in Europe. The new direct flights to Portugal will streamline travel, making it more accessible to Lisbon and nearby cities.
Korean Air’s offer to the Iberian Peninsula is complemented by services to Madrid, the airline in Europe also has scheduled flights to Amsterdam, Paris-Charles de Gaulle, London-Heathrow, Frankfurt, Milan-Malpensa, Rome-Fiumicino, Zurich, Vienna, Budapest, Istanbul and Prague.
