Delta Air Lines resumes service to Taiwan with the start of nonstop service from Seattle-Tacoma to Taipei. The airline will have a record 51 services from Seattle-Tacoma this summer.
Delta President Glen Hauenstein, Port of Seattle Commission Vice Chairman Toshiko Hasegawa, and General Manager of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Seattle, Daniel Kuo-ching Chen, spoke at the pre-boarding opening ceremony.
Delta currently operates about 170 daily flights from Seattle-Tacoma to more than 50 destinations worldwide. Seattle is a prime West Coast hub for Delta and a key gateway for the airline’s Asia-Pacific operations, which, with the addition of Taipei, is complemented by services to Seoul-Incheon, Tokyo-Haneda, and Shanghai-Pudong.

- Seattle – Taipei Flight DL 69 SEA 23:45 – TPE 15:30+1 daily flights.
- Taipei – Seattle Flight DL 68 TPE 17:25 – SEA 13:24 daily flights.
Flights are operated on Airbus A330-900neo aircraft with 281 seats: 29 Delta One Suites, 28 Premium Economy, 56 Delta Comfort+, and 169 in Main Cabin.
This service is the fourth new international service to begin in 2024, following services by Lufthansa to Munich, Hainan Airlines to Chongqing and Alaska Airlines to Toronto-Pearson, Seattle-Tacoma now provides 51 services to 33 international destinations with 25 different airlines. China Airlines and STARLUX are scheduled to begin additional service to Taipei this summer, and Philippine Airlines is scheduled to begin service to Manila this fall.
