Air China resumes flights between Shanghai and Barcelona

After an absence of more than four years, Air China resumes its non-stop flights between Shanghai and Barcelona, the company’s third route in Spain and the second Chinese airline to have flights at Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport. The airline suspended this flight on February 25 due to health restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Flight CA839 was operated on an Airbus A350 registered as B-32AS, which took off from Shanghai-Pudong International Airport at 01:02 local time on August 27 and landed at Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport at 07:57, after twelve hours and 56 minutes.
