Croatia Airlines is celebrating its 35th anniversary and is employing a new Airbus A220 that performed an international service from Zagreb to Germany. This aircraft provides comfort, is more fuel efficient and complies with environmental regulations, as well as offering a pleasant experience for passengers and crew.
Flight OA414 was operated on an Airbus A220-300 registered 9A-CTH, which took off from Zagreb’s Franjo Tudman Airport at 18:43 local time on August 8 and landed at Frankfurt International Airport at 19:53, after one hour and 23 minutes.
Croatia Airlines ordered two Airbus A220-100s and thirteen Airbus A220-300s to modernize its fleet of narrow-body aircraft and expand its network as part of its 35th anniversary plan. The first A220s will provide international services from Paris-Charles de Gaulle, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Berlin, London-Heathrow and Skopje.
Airlines also operating Airbus A220s in Europe include airBaltic, Air France, SWISS, ITA Airways, Bulgaria Air, Cyprus Airways and Lufthansa Cityline has a pending order.
