The LATAM Group has decided to dispose of three Boeing 767-300 freighters from its cargo subsidiaries, which currently operate 21 units, according to CargoFacts. The first of these aircraft, with serial number 30,780 and registration N532LA, was acquired by Jetran in late October. This 767 is currently parked in Roswell, New Mexico.

Despite the sale, LATAM has not announced a reduction in the number of Boeing 767F freighters, which is expected to remain at 21 units. The three sold 767s will be replaced by other freighters. Currently, the airline operates fourteen Boeing 767s based in Chile, four in Colombia, and three in Brazil.

In September, the company announced the completion of its last scheduled conversion of the Boeing 767-300 (BCF), marking the end of its conversion orders with Boeing. These conversions are part of LATAM’s strategy to modernize and expand its cargo fleet. In 2021, the LATAM Group unveiled a plan to grow its fleet, including passenger-to-freighter conversions and a capacity increase of more than 70% compared to pre-pandemic levels.

LATAM Cargo currently operates its Boeing 767 freighters to destinations such as Amsterdam/Schiphol, Asunción, Buenos Aires, Brussels, Campinas/Viracopos, Curitiba, Florianópolis, Sal Island, Lima, Madrid, Manaus, Miami, Montevideo, New York, Quito, Santiago de Chile, São José dos Campos, São Paulo/Guarulhos, and Vitória.
