Royal Air Maroc and GOL signed a codeshare agreement that will benefit the Brazilian airline’s customers on international services between São Paulo-Guarulhos and Casablanca.

The agreement allows access to domestic routes in Morocco, such as Agadir (AGA), Tangier (TNG), Fez (FEZ), Oujda (OUD), Nador (NDR), Ouarzazate (OZZ), Laayoune (EUN), Errachidia (ERH), and Dakhla (VIL). On the other hand, Royal Air Maroc customers have the option to connect to GOL’s network of destinations in Brazil. Additionally, the agreement enables GOL to market interline connections to over 20 destinations in Africa operated by Royal Air Maroc.

«The partnership with Royal Air Maroc marks an expansion of destination options for GOL customers in the African continent, providing access to one of the most attractive tourist destinations in Africa. This collaboration allows our customers to depart from GOL’s main bases and, through Guarulhos, reach Casablanca and other major African cities. We are very pleased to contribute to strengthening the relationship between Brazil and Morocco,» said Celso Ferrer, CEO of GOL.

«We are excited to embark on this new partnership with GOL Linhas Aéreas, a significant step in meeting the growing demand in African and Latin American markets. This collaboration strategically enhances our network, providing our passengers with seamless access to the vibrant cities of Brazil through our flight from Casablanca to São Paulo, while opening exciting travel opportunities to Morocco and beyond,» added Abdelhamid Addou, President and CEO of Royal Air Maroc.

On December 8, the Moroccan airline will resume its operations to São Paulo, though its flights to Rio de Janeiro remain suspended. Additionally, the widebody fleet is growing with the addition of a tenth Boeing 787.
