Eurowings expands its range of vacation destinations from Berlin-Brandenburg Airport for the summer season of 2025, reaching 42 destinations.
The Lufthansa Group subsidiary will add new services, with part of the expansion focusing on southern Europe: for the first time, Eurowings will fly from Berlin to Bilbao and Jerez de la Frontera in Spain, Faro in Portugal, and Corfu in Greece. Another notable connection for the summer is Newcastle, in northeast England.
The airline is also increasing its flights to existing destinations such as Heraklion, Rhodes, and Kos in Greece, Málaga in Spain, Split in Croatia, Nice in France, Yerevan in Armenia, and Erbil in Iraq. Palma de Mallorca remains the most in-demand destination on the schedule from Berlin, with Eurowings flying up to three times a day from Berlin to the Balearic island.
“Berlin and Eurowings are a good match: we are delighted not only to continue our growth story at BER but also to accelerate it. Following the successful expansion of our connections to the Gulf region, we will also strengthen our presence in the capital in the summer of 2025 and, with more than 200 weekly flights, offer our most extensive European service to date. Our commitment is a clear vote of confidence in Berlin as an aviation location, with which we are expanding the Lufthansa Group’s market leadership in the capital,» said Jens Bischof, CEO of Eurowings.
«We are very pleased with Eurowings’ commitment to BER. The airline will offer travelers in the capital region a variety of new and attractive travel options in Europe and beyond in the upcoming summer flight schedule. At the same time, the expanded offering will improve the region’s accessibility for international guests and, therefore, strengthen BER as an airport location, as well as regional tourism and the economy,” added Aletta von Massenbach, Chairwoman of the Board of Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH.
