WestJet strengthens its U.S. operations for the summer 2025 season by adding new destinations, new routes, and extending several seasonal services, offering more travel options for Canadian travelers.

WestJet’s updates in the U.S. for summer 2025

  • Calgary-Raleigh/Durham: three weekly flights from June 9 to October 13 (new destination).
  • Calgary-Anchorage: two weekly flights from June 29 to September 7 (new destination).
  • Calgary-Minneapolis: four weekly flights from May 16 to September 3 (new route).
  • Calgary-Fort Lauderdale: one weekly frequency (operates year-round).
  • Calgary-Tampa: one weekly frequency (operates year-round).
  • Edmonton-Salt Lake City: five weekly flights from May 15 to October 24 (new destination).
  • Edmonton-Chicago: three weekly flights from June 4 to October 22 (new route).
  • Vancouver-Boston: daily flights from June 9 to October 13 (new route).
  • Vancouver-Tampa: one weekly frequency from June 14 to October 25 (new route).
  • Winnipeg-Orlando: one weekly frequency (operates year-round).
  • Kelowna-Seattle: daily flights (operates year-round).

WestJet continues to grow in Delta hubs

WestJet is expanding in the transborder market by 11%, operating in 29 airports with more than 900 weekly flights and continuing to optimize its connectivity across the United States to Delta Air Lines’ main hubs.

Through the partnership between both airlines, customers connecting in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Detroit, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, New York, Salt Lake City, and Seattle will gain access to an extensive network of U.S. destinations with a single ticket.
